It's that time of year again!

Although it doesn't feel like it outside, the calendar says it's October which means it's officially autumn. We had some odd weather last week...5 days of hot in the 80's and then one day of rain and cold on Saturday and then immediately back to warm on Sunday and into this week. Global warming at it's best I'd say. Stupid Palin. But I digress.

Anyway, the weather cleared up just in time for us to go to Lane Farm's pumpkin patch and pick out our pumpkins for the porch, which is always such a good time for me. Most people take their kids to the patch to pick out pumpkins and take pictures but not us. I LOVE going every year and it doesn't matter how old I am. My mom can attest to the fact that I am as excited at 24 as I was at 4 years old to go to the pumpkin patch. Poor Jason will be subjected to a lifetime of pumpkin patch trips, with or without children. Pumpkin patches AND Christmas tree farms.
