Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was a lovely day! Beautiful weather, good company, great food! My dad and John came for the meal, then Jason's parents came in the evening and we had a repeat dinner. So much food - we were decidedly but happily stuffed! I was cooking like a crazy person, but thoroughly enjoyed every moment. What can I say, I do love to cook!
My mom came to visit the following day and we went with her to the Live Oak Canyon Christmas Tree Farm to get our tree! It's up and lit but no decorations as of yet. It's amazing how quickly our apartment went from Fall to Winter...
I've also been working on our holiday cards. Along with most of our holiday gifts, I decided to make our cards myself this year, to save money as well as to have something crafty to do to help occupy my days. A sampling of the finished products can be found below. There are 40 in all.
December is right around the corner! Let the holiday preparations begin! :)
