My cousin, Keri and her husband, Ryan asked Jason and I to be their second son, Brady's, Godparents!! We are SO honored, excited and thrilled!! For the past 2.5 years, we have greatly enjoyed spending time with their first son, Jake and now that Brady has come in to the family, we can't wait to be a part of his life, too. Watching the two brothers grow up together will be such fun! To be asked to be a part of Brady's life in this most special way is truly a blessing. To the right is the picture she sent me to "pop the question." I love how contemplative he looks, as if he's really asking us something. Such a cutie! What's next? We will take a "Godparent" course from the Catholic church to get a certificate to give Keri so she can reserve a date at the church for the baptism. I was baptized Catholic so Jason and I qualify with the Church. The baptism is tentatively scheduled for August but we have to wait and see what dates are available.
Keri and Ryan: Thank you for giving us this opportunity to be a part of your family in such a special way. I know we're family already, but it truly means so much to us to be Brady's Godparents and we promise to be positive role models throughout his life, and shower him with love and support. We love you and your boys!!

What better way to say, "I Love You"! I know that you and Jason will take on the responsibility more seriously than most as I know how much Brady means to you as does Jake and Family in general. You both will be the perfect Godparents because of your beautiful hearts! Brady is so lucky to have the both of you in his life in this very special way. I am so happy for you.
I love you both!
Dad
