New Direction

In case you hadn't noticed ---

1) I am in LOVE with food: planting it, growing it, photographing it, cooking it, sharing it, eating it, reading about it, writing about it, etc etc. Which brings me to my next point, and that is ....

2) I think this blog has begun to evolve in to a food blog. I am enjoying our garden and the process more than I thought I would, and I have always enjoyed cooking so I suppose it shouldn't surprise anyone that this has taken place. I'm having a blast!

So, what does that mean for the future of this blog? I think you can expect to find recipes here, photos of our garden and the food I cook, as well as posts that are not food related...but they'll probably be few and far between. I'm excited about where this blog is going and hope you'll join me for the ride!

Everything looks wonderful! Hey, if you decide to start canning, do something great and get this book: http://bluechairfruit.com/blue-chair-jam-cookbook/

It's mostly fruit, but there are also some amazing recipes for tomatoes, corn, etc... YUM!

Love the new look!! Yay for gardens! I have my strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, snap peas, and lots of herbs growing full force! I wish we were close enough to share... :/ MIss you!! xoxo

Thanks for the comment love, everyone! I am very excited to see how this whole gardening thing develops. :) And Jess, for more reasons than one I wish we lived closer!! That book sounds awesome, I'll have to give it a look-see. So far, we are growing: 3 kinds of tomatoes {grape, pineapple and old german}, kidney beans, snap peas, bell pepper, jalapenos, corn, butternut squash, zucchini, beets, chard, carrots, bibb & romaine lettuce, broccoli, yellow & red onion, watermelon and 2 kinds of pumpkins. Woohoo, Farmer Nam! :D
